A Journey through the Genres

The Winelands Choir will be hosting their gala concert on the 30th of November at the KWV Cathedral Cellar in Paarl, Western Cape. The theme of the concert is "A Journey through the Genres" as various genres of music through the ages will be performed.

Among the artists joining the choir on stage are flutist, Inge Scott, meso-soprano Jonette Le Kay and the girls choir The Kensington Chorale, conducted by Mrs Lizl Gafley.

Funds raised will be used to buy much needed musical instruments and equipment. Currently the choir does not have a keyboard or other accompanyment for choir practice or performance.

Only 300 seats are available due to the capacity of the venue and ticket prices are R60 for adults and R30 for children under 12.
